After San Francisco, we made a quick run through NAPA Valley, then on to Yosemite. Just as all of our friends predicted, we were blown away by the beauty of Yosemite National Park but unfortunately we were also stunned by the traffic. We planned two days here and needed them to see only a fraction of the sights, but after one day of National Park gridlock we decided to move on. It is not that the roads are crowded in the park, it is that there is just not any where to park at each attraction. Admittedly they do have a shuttle to run between attractions, but you still have to find a place to park initially and we found that to be impossible.
In spite of the traffic, we did get to see some magnificent sights. I had a hard time choosing which photos to display because everything in this park is picture perfect.
