Weekends and Whirlygigs

This past weekend was so action packed that I will have to make several posts to cover it all.  We canoed, whirligigged, and enjoyed the heck out of an autumnal Saturday.  It all started in Weldon, NC at the restored gristmill at River Falls Park.  We canoed from Weldon to Halifax on the 2012 Roanoke River Ramble.  After a delicious hot lunch at the Methodist Church in Halifax, Stormy and I headed to Wilson to catch an hour or so of the Whirligig festival.
