With little ado, Michele and I check in at Benson on Wednesday afternoon as scheduled. In spite of the many warning signs along this route, we manage to avoid any dire entanglements. In fact the dwindling traffic headed westward makes my drive much more pleasant.
Just in case our travels do not go as planned, Michele builds a couple of extra days into her plans. Since her flight does not depart until Saturday afternoon, I am able to show her a few sights around Benson. I am thrilled to do so as a small repayment of the huge gift she gives me by joining me on this trek across the southern US! See the photos below for a recap of our outings.
How long are you in Benson
What a journey, we never went to White Sands and I wish we would have . Thanks for sharing it with us, almost like being there, Michele don’t feel bad about the sand I get the same darn thing just going to the beach in NC. YUKKKK Love dem mountains though:>)) Take care and keep em coming, thanks for letting us know where you guys are. GOD BLESS

White Sands is an unusual place – possibly the brightest sun I have ever seen. Love to you both!
Glad you made it safely and had adventures along the way! So nice to meet Michele. Good friends are a blessing.
