Priceless

Sunny in the BahamasSwimsuit $32.00, visor $12.00  – being flown to the Bahamas by my husband for a weekend on a yacht – priceless!!

It has been years since I visited the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas.  This weekend I got the opportunity to spend one night on Treasure Cay, an island that I have never visited before and one night on Elbow Cay one of my favorite places to go.  My brilliant husband successfully navigated the new customs requirements and dicey weather on the way out to get me there safely (think flashes of lightning off the left wing).  I was restricted by weight on the flight so could not carry my huge favorite camera.  Instead I used my new Galaxy S4 phone to take what I think are some stunning photos.  For those of you looking for a new camera (and what the heck a phone to boot) I highly recommend the S4.  It does have limited zoom capability (hard to beat a long lens for that) but it has fabulous night photo results without a tripod.  Here are some of my favorite pics from this adventure:

  1. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Glad you had a great time….I love the Carribean but have never been to the island you visited.
