Pictures from Oshkosh

Used to camping in the North 40 with our plane, camping off the airshow in our RV is a new experience for us. We find that traffic is extremely well managed and we are able to easily arrive and depart at the airshow whenever we desire. Warm and humid weather here has us sitting under Show Girl’s wing for shade during much of the airshow. I’ll just let the pictures tell the story:

  1. That small plane in the landing pattern behind the C5 looks like a Remora attaching itself to a shark.

      Fortunately for the tiny plane, that C-5 landed at exactly where the runway threshold begins so the tiny plane did not have to worry about wake turbulence as long as he landed at least 1 inch up his runway!
