Parading through Harrisburg, Oregon

A horse of a different color in Harrisburg, Oregon parade

We spend 4th of July at the Harrisburg, Oregon parade.  The parade conveniently marches within walking distance of our RV (2 miles).  Storm insists though that we drive to the parade. He is afraid our chairs and cooler do not want to walk that far.  Outside temps in the high 60’s on the 4th are a novelty for us as are the trains that several times interrupt the parade by crossing the parade route.

What a hoot, always good to find a parade. We found one in Missouri and tried to find a place to park to watch it. Turned out we made the wrong turn and ended up IN THE PARADE, and the police and local folks thought that it was really something to have a North Carolina float in their parade. A pretty white Camry with a cute little puppy dog. It was fun but also a bit embarrassing to say the least. Got lots of waves and
    good wishes tho. GOD BLESS
