Pacific Coast Highway – Northern Version

This was my double lucky day as I not only got the see the Pacific ocean, but World Famous Adventurer Terrie finally granted me an interview.  I realize that with Paparazzi constantly hounding her it was unfair for me to expect to get her on camera while vacationing, but you can see from this video that it was worth it to keep trying!

I have been told frequently that the southern part of the Pacific Coast Highway is so much more beautiful than the northern section.  Since I have never been to Southern California I don’t know if that is true, but I am now a huge fan of the rugged beauty of the northern section of coastline that we traveled on our way south to San Francisco.  I had never seen an ocean with cow pastures or flower beds that ran right up to it!  Add to this leg of the trip the giant redwoods, quaint seaside villages and elegant old lighthouses to produce what was so far my favorite part of our California journey.
