Did you know that twice a year the Duke Lemur Center has an event called Lemurpalooza?  I did not either, but last weekend I attended their soggy fall event.  Not that it is always soggy, but it was last weekend!  I don’t think the Lemurs minded too much, although there was a bit of a ruckus when one of them started a distress call through the lemur ranks possibly due to an umbrella scare.  I learned lots about lemurs from the well trained (by the Lemurs) staff and I definitely recommend that you check the Center out if you get a chance.  Photos were difficult without a waterproof camera, but I did manage to get one semi decent shot:
