It’s Sunny and Stormy in New Zealand – The Saga Ends

Just as our vacation had to eventually end, so does this story. We took a little time to experience more of the many attractions in and around Queenstown. We actually saw a kiwi in the birdlife museum. For those of you who don’t know what a kiwi bird is, they are nocturnal, flightless birds about the size of a chicken that live in New Zealand. We also took a Segway tour of Queenstown and a short bus ride out to Arrowtown, a historic village where Chinese gold miners lived at one time. So much happens on the waterfront in Queenstown making each day an adventure. The downtown area is filled with lovely shops and with restaurants serving every imaginable type of food. Thanks for sharing my vacation with me!
