After our beautiful US 50 ride, we maneuver through Pueblo and make our way to Monte’s Ranch in Colorado. He has prepared a lean-to covered area for us and the RV just fits in this space. While we are here, Storm and Monte plan to work for a few weeks on cattle guards for the ranch. This ranch is off a couple dirt roads, way off the Interstate – very remote and teaming with wildlife.
To get supplies, I occasionally make the 3 hour round trip drive to Pueblo. The last time I made a supply run, the temp was 105 degrees and my groceries almost cooked in the jeep before I could get back to the ranch. Pursuant to Sunny’s Survival Code, Section 54.9(c) which includes paragraphs (i) Avoiding woman eating animals and (ii) Remaining an unmelted person, I will be seeking refuge inside my air conditioned RV during most of our stay here. And yes, N. Clement, there are definitely rattlesnakes here. I just hope they stay out of my coach!
Wildlife at Monte’s Ranch

Looks like a Zoo to me, I didn’t see one cow in any of the pictures. Is Charlie going to learn how to ride a horse while you all are there too? ;>) Sure is pretty, but a long way from a Bo’s for coffee. :>))) Thanks for sharing. See ya in Oshkosh. GOD BLESS

We sure miss Bo’s – won’t see another again until we return to the East Coast 🙁
See ya!!
