Heading Northwest

In the interest of full disclosure, I should tell you that we are almost all the way across Texas and into New Mexico at the time of this post.  Our visits with friends between the Gulf Coast and New Mexico have been like super vacations jam packed with so much fun that I never had a free moment to share until now.  I will try to catch up on my posts over the next few days.

Going back to last Sunday here is my take on leaving Brazoria. I manage to get all of the bloody splatters scrubbed off the interior surfaces of the Jeep – sure wish we had gotten agile enough to kill those mosquitoes before they filled up on our blood!  Storm and his buddy Rick at Mobile Mechanic in Angleton service the RV in preparation for our journey west.  Storm and I brave one last trip to the grocery store in Clute, a store with endless aisles and with such a confusing layout (characteristic of every grocery store we tried here) we were able to both purchase and burn off an equal number of calories in one stop.  I swear they moved the orange juice to different locations between our visits!

As we thread our way out of the refuge toward much anticipated reunions with our western traveling friends, I offer you this compilation video of our visit here and of our departure.
