Since Storm does not need my navigation skills to find his way to Kerr Lake for Christmas, I use the ride time to explore a new photo editing app called Snapseed. Editing with this app is almost like using Lightroom for your phone. Great for those times when I don’t have my camera and there right in front of me is something worth a snap. Just a few edits from photo to instagram post – I like that!
Especially helpful are the tutorials included in the app. I am able to view almost all of them in an hour on the ride to the lake. If you have a photo to edit you can open it in Snapseed, then from the app menu select a tutorial that explains how to achieve the look you desire. Each 3-4 step tutorial gives you the option to manually edit your photo according to the instructions or to click “Try it.” If you choose the latter, then the app will apply the necessary settings to your photo rendering a look similar to the tutorial example.
Easy to learn, use and most importantly, free! Here are some before and after pics to help you decide if this app is for you. Please comment on this post if you have a helpful photo app that you can recommend.

Sandy might be able to figure this out, but if I tried it I would probably kill the site for everyone else. Great Pictures, thanks for sharing and it really does make a difference. Stay warm and have a great day. GOD BLESS

Hahaha – I am sure Sandy can handle it. We are sure trying to stay warm. At least we have a coach to huddle in, there are people camping around us in tents – what are they thinking?
Thanks for the info. Just downloaded the app to my phone.
Can’t wait to see the photos you come up with!
