First Female Kentucky State Trooper

On the road, I meet so many incredible people and I wish I could interview every single one of them and post it here to share with each of you.  Unfortunately most of them see me coming and they evade me before I can corral them into doing a video with me.  At Thelma and Louise Point, the famous site where the last scene of that iconic movie was filmed, I trap Punkin on a cliff.

Punkin is the first female Kentucky State Trooper and is now enjoying a fun filled retirement.  Instead of using her considerable skills to subdue me and effect her escape, she chooses to negotiate her way out of this dangerous situation.  She agrees (against her better judgement I am sure) to talk with me 🙂   For those of you who are fans of Jim Brown, he is kind enough to star in a cameo role in this video!

You are terrific and I thank you for allowing me to interview you. As you requested, I will mention here that there were 3 women in your graduating class, but you will always be Trooper number 1 to me!

  4. WOW, what a great lady, she broke the ground for many more to follow her. Thank her for her service from the Dukemans and we are so glad to see her enjoying her retirement like you guys are. We met some great folks but never anyone of that stature, what a gal. God bless her. And you all too. GOD BLESS
