The almost 2 month delay before our cracked windshield is repaired proves to be more than worth the wait. The wonderful folks at Frontier Glass in Belle Fouche, SD squeeze us in between the deluge of hail repair jobs with which they are still inundated from the late June storm here. Under the careful ministrations of Roger, Diane and Steve our coach is restored to its pre-cracked glory. Meeting these hard-working, kind folks makes up for traveling with a less than perfect view of the world for a couple of months.

Wait a minute – I’m not the Center of Everything??
Jim Brown gets wind of our location through my Instagram account. He reminds us that we are actually near the geographic center of the US. Belle Fourche is the geographic center of the 50 states, not of the contiguous 48 which is somewhere in Kansas. At Jim’s suggestion we tour the local museum. The gardens and exhibits here provide a diversion while we wait for our windshield to cure so we can drive it back to Spearfish.

Glad you got the windshield fixed, and you have also found out that there are GOOD FOLKS all over this country. Thanks for sharing, take care and enjoy the new VIEW. :>) GOD BLESS
