I humbly apologize for the delay in posting after leaving Benson. I am very grateful to everyone who contacted me to be sure I made it to Moab safely. It has taken me a couple of weeks to pull myself together after that trip. Tire troubles continue to stalk me as I travel north. The most frustrating is a flat tire due to a defective valve stem. Once again, I call roadside assistance to meet me in the RV park and fix this morning’s aggravation. For just a few minutes there, I consider giving up and making this RV spot in New Mexico my new home.
Instead I spend an extra night in NM fixing my flat and giving myself a stern self talk about being a little more grateful for the good things. Determined to end this journey, I leave at sunrise for a full day run to Moab. I stop only for fuel and drive on vowing to get parked in Moab or die trying. Nine hours later, I pull into the park and kiss the gravel driveway.

I chill for week calming down from my too adventurous recent past. Lots of chocolate milkshakes from Milt’s Drive-In help considerably. After rediscovering my happy place, I venture out for a day hiking with thousands of others in Arches NP. Once MJ and Jack arrive with their sophisticated 2021 Rubicon, I join them for some off roading. Check out photos and video from my local adventures below.
A Photo and Video Tour of Arches

You are an inspiration to us all!!
Especially the milkshakes part.
