A Worthwhile Rainy Day RV Project

This post is for my many crafty, talented and clever RV friends.  If you are looking for an eco-friendly, compassionate project to add to your resume consider making these sleeping mats.

I learned about this idea while lunching with my friend Sandy.  Her latest project is crocheting ground mats for homeless people to use (she donates them to the local Rescue Mission).  Made out of recycled garbage bags, these mats are thick, waterproof, bug repellent and environmentally friendly.  At last something worthwhile for me to do while watching old movies on those rainy RV days.
